Summer Camp

Welcome to Summer Camp!

Thank you so much for your interest in the Children's House Summer Camp! Camp will take place at the historic schoolhouse in Camden for toddlers and preschool aged children. Our kindergarten and elementary aged friends will enjoy camp offsite at Merryspring Nature Center. We look forward to friendship, fun, field trips, art galore, and a lot of laughs.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE:

Week of February 2nd. Families of current CHMS students will be invited to register; families may enroll siblings at this time. We will email you!
Week of February 9th. Families of past CHMS students and past campers who attend other childcare or school programs will be invited to register. We will email you!
Week of February 16th. New friends from the broader community will be invited to apply, as space allows. If you would like to join the Waiting List, please click here.

Preference is given to families who are signing up for the ENTIRE summer session or multiple weeks. A three-week consecutive registration is required.

Registration confirmation may take up to one month. We understand that programs fill quickly throughout the Midcoast, and we appreciate your patience.

Schedule & Costs

Toddler Trailblazers: Ages 2 years

WEEKS 1-8

HALF DAY
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to noon
$210/week for currently-enrolled CHMS children
$245/week for community friends

FULL DAY
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
& Friday, 8:30 a.m.-noon
$350/week for currently-enrolled CHMS children
$375/week for community friends

Schoolhouse Friends: Ages 3-4 years

Outdoor Explorers: Ages 5-9 years

WEEKS 1-8

FULL DAYS
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
& Friday, 8:30 a.m.-noon
$350/week for currently-enrolled CHMS children
$375/week for community friends

*$100 activity fee will be added for Rock Climbing week (themes for weeks will be posted as soon as possible)

Cancellation Policy

The smooth operation of camp relies on families following through on their commitments. It is challenging to fill spaces at the last minute. Thank you for your partnership.

If you cancel before June 1st, you will receive a 50% refund on the cost of camp.
If you cancel after June 1st or withdraw your child while camp is in session, there are no refunds unless it is a medical or family emergency.
