Happy Birthday to Children's House! 2009-2010 marks our 30th birthday. We'll be reaching out to CHMS families, faculty, and staff both old and new for a spring birthday celebration. Check us out on facebook as we update information and become a fan of Children's House!

The school playground has a fresh new look! Thank you to CedarWorks for donating two new playsets and to Children's House dad Manuel Gutierrez for donating the new playhouse. Also thank you to the many families who helped us weed flowerbeds, rake woodchips, paint the beloved firetruck and plant hedges.

Our Annual Appeal kicked off in November. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 in honor of our thirtieth birthday. Forty percent of our families receive some form of tuition assistance, and we are committed to making Montessori education accessible through our need-based tuition assistance program which is available for all ages. $30,000 would cover most of our tuition assiantce budget for the year. Coming up... our whole school holiday concert is December 22, and Christmas vacation is December 23 through January 1.

Snow Day Policy: When the Camden Rockport Public Schools (MSAD 28) are closed due to weather, we will be closed. We will not, however, participate in delayed starts, but will maintain our usual schedule in such instances. In such cases, please travel safely and arrive when you can.
