Our Practical Life Live and Silent Auction is this Friday, May 2nd at the Snow Bowl, 6-9 p.m. We have 100 fabulous items to bid on. Auction catalogs will be available beginning Wednesday afternoon in the office and online for anyone wanting a sneak peek at what will be available. Can't make it Friday night? Come to the CHMS office for an absentee bid sheet, so you can still be part of the fun. Congratulations to the winners of the CedarWorks Play-a-Round Playset Raffle! Our Grand Prize went to Ed Carroll & Marydale Abernathy, parents of former Children's House student Annalee Carroll. Second prize went to Joe and Marla McGeedy and their children. The Raffle was a great success. Thanks to everyone who bought and sold tickets. With about $6,000 in sales we both surpassed last year's total and this year's sales goal! Thank you again to Barrett Brown and Lynne Kaplinsky-Brown of CedarWorks for donating the playsets and helping us organize the raffle, to Sean Carnell for his website expertise and to Adventure Advertising for promotional materials. Dawn Smith-Cote again led our efforts with her usual efficiency and expertise as our Raffle Chair, and thanks to the many parents who helped on the raffle committee or with sales at French & Brawn: Jo-Ann Cook, Pete & Kristi Kalajian, Lauria O'Connell, Allison Gutierrez, Alex Lawrence. We are currently accepting applications and re-enrollment for the next school year. For more information about the admissions process, please visit our admissions page on this website or call the CHMS office, 236-2911. Please, also, join us for one of our “Intro to Montessori” information sessions held Wednesday mornings, 9:30-10:30. The sessions include an opportunity for questions and answers and a tour of the school. Please call the office to RSVP.
