Because tuition alone does not cover the many expenses of running a school, and because we are committed to accommodating as many families as possible through our tuition assistance program, Children’s House Montessori School depends on contributions from our families, alumni and friends to our annual fund and other fundraising events.
There are many ways, large or small, of contributing to the school in support of our mission.
Children’s House Montessori School Annual Fund
Our Annual Fund provides the foundation of our fundraising efforts. “Each one of us, parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends: we are threads in the fabric of the Children’s House community and we share something special and something irreplaceable. Children’s House is small, warm, welcoming and fragile. It needs your support through volunteering and it needs your support through financial contributions.” –Lynne Kaplinsky Brown, CHMS Board of Directors. To contribute to our annual fund, you can click on the “Donate” button on this page.
Annual Spring Auction
This auction is our single biggest fundraising event of the year. This year, we are holding our very first Garden Gala and Auction on Saturday, May 6. Please join us for a fun evening that is filled with delicious food, live music and an exciting auction!
A fun, family-oriented way to celebrate the end of the school year and raise funds at the same time! Children are invited to get sponsors for their participation in helping us reach a goal of keeping the swings at CedarWorks swinging all afternoon. All ages are invited to participate (there are toddler swings available), and we would love to see siblings and Children’s House alumni as well!
Please join us for a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year and to help complete our fundraising for the year.
CLYNK Recycling Program at Hannaford
Save your redeemable cans and bottles with CLYNK and help raise funds for CHMS!
Pick up green CLYNK bags at school (each carries a bar-coded sticker) and fill them with your returnables. Then, just take the bag to any Hannaford grocery store. Just swipe the bar code with the wand, and toss the bag in the door at the CLYNK recycling center (it is inside the entrance at the Camden store). NO counting needed!
The Children’s House Montessori School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support.
